Daniil Volkov
Biography
Daniil Volkov was born in 1974 in Yalta, Crimea.
His parents, Victor N Volkov and Elena D Rusanova, are famous Crimean Artists.
Daniil enrolled in the N.S. Samokish Crimean Art College in 1989.
After graduating in 1994, he worked alongside his parents and sold his paintings in the Common Wealth of Independent States, France, England, and the United States.
Volkov opened his first personal art exhibit in 1995 at the Union of Artist’s exhibition hall in Yalta. That same year he visited France to participate in art auctions to sell his families work.
In 1996, he entered the Moscow State University of Printing in the department of artistic and technical design of printed products, from which he graduated in 2004 with a diploma in graphic design.
Currently, the artist lives in Yalta, creating many new works of art, including paintings of picturesque Crimean landscapes. He also participates in art exhibits and conducts creative journeys.
Daniil V Volkov has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 2010 and is also a member of Artists’ Union of Russia.

The Crimean school of painting is bright, distinctive, and has always been famous for its picturesque traditions.
Most recently, artist Daniil Volkov conducted a personal exhibition in Yalta.
The exhibit featured 60 small sized paintings completed this past year, demonstrating the success of the artist.
The subject of the works varied from romantic seascapes to sunny cities and blooming gardens.
With regard to the size of the paintings, the master said: “I have learned a lot by working within such a small format.
It helps to quickly convey the casual mood without missing a single detail.
At the same time, the size limitation allows you to cut out all that is unnecessary.”
Daniil Volkov – a very bright and unusual figure in the Crimean realistic painting.
Coming from a family of artists ensures a high degree of talent and workmanship.
The master's works, saturated with vibrating color and imbued with the joy of life, have characteristics of Impressionism.
Volkov is known for his coloristic and compositional flair.
It is impossible to look away from his paintings, they attract and fascinate with their play of colors.
Small paintings, mostly completed with warm tones do not miss a single detail while cutting off that is unnecessary.
The subjects of his paintings are romantic seascapes, sun-drenched cities, blooming gardens and lush still lifes.
