Professionally working with various painting techniques, such as impasto, palette knife and brush, the artist is trying to express the sound of his life on canvas - a special reality.

Eugene Gavlin’s paintings create for the audience visual cues to existing, near magical, colorful worlds; they are open, dynamic, multifaceted, and are like a beautiful melody.

The plots are known, the main thing is to show great variety of emotional nuances in a beautiful form.

The artist employs a special technique: small and medium-sized dabs on the liquid surface.

His thin, textured brushstroke are not due to primitivism, but from the pointillist painting technique.

This technique serves a dual purpose, it enables the expression of tiny details while providing dynamics to the image, and makes the colors vibrate giving the painting visual lightness.

Gavlin is using a special language, reminiscent of musical phrases - the language of color and light rhythms. This fuses his paintings into a unity of color, sound, space, time and imagination of the author.

A significant part of the artist’s works are watercolor scenes.

With the remarkable sensitivity and delicacy of Gavlin’s methods, the artists tunes the audience’s perceptions to a lyrical mood.

This is not a vague fantastic mirage, the “blurring” effect creates a specific landscape motif.

The color scheme, built on subtle transitions, creates an effect of incorporeal trees, architectural elements and individual items.

Painter Eugene Gavlin is permanently exhibited in several galleries in Russia, France, USA, Germany, and the Czech Republic.

His paintings hang in private collections in more than 20 countries around the world.
